Basketball Recap: Woods Cross Continues Road Dominance on Wednesday

Woods Cross won the last time they faced Box Elder and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Woods Cross Wildcats took down the Box Elder Bees 46-27. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Woods Cross can attribute much of their success to Kiyomi Tauataina, who went 5 of 9 to rack up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ili Crockett, who posted four points and five steals.

Box Elder lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Hannah Jeppsen, who scored seven points and six rebounds. What's more, Jeppsen also posted a 50% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Emma Nelson, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.
