Soccer Recap: Asheboro Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Asheboro was the 5-1 winner over Mooresville when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Comets took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils on Monday. One thing that didn't help Asheboro's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Anrahan Cabral.

Micah Garcia and Ozmar Martinez scored both of Asheboro's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Asheboro's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Mooresville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1-1.

Looking ahead, Asheboro will host Ledford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mooresville, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Hickory Ridge on the 27th.
