There's no place like home for Highland Baptist Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the West St. Mary Wolfpack on Monday as the Highland Baptist Christian Bears made off with a 16-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Wolfpack: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Rowan Charpentier, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kaiden Yates, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Highland Baptist Christian's record is now 4-5. As for West St. Mary, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
