Baseball Game Preview: Florida Christian Patriots vs. University Christian Christians

The Florida Christian Patriots will head out to square off against the University Christian Christians at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Florida Christian came up short against Bishop Snyder and fell 6-1. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Florida Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Suarez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

University Christian never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Eagle's View on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Warriors. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Christians this season.

The team relied heavily on Bryson Harnage, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Miles Tyson was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and three RBI.

University Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. Florida Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
