Basketball Recap: Millville Takes a Loss

If Millville was feeling good fresh off their 49-25 takedown of Salem last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Millville Thunderbolts'2024 ended with a 44-29 defeat against the Bensalem Fighting Owls on Sunday.

Millville's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bensalem, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millville will host St. Joseph at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Bensalem, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Council Rock South at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Bensalem has won seven straight at home dating back to last season, while Council Rock South won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
