Basketball Game Preview: Apple Valley Sun Devils vs. AGBU Titans

The Apple Valley Sun Devils will be taking part in a tournament against the AGBU Titans at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Apple Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Apple Valley is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest loss since January 24th on Monday. They fell just short of Big Bear by a score of 75-72. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (62), the Sun Devils still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, AGBU beat Norwalk 46-39 on Monday. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Lancers are ranked 621st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Apple Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for AGBU, their win bumped their record up to 15-2.
