Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Rusk). They snuck past Tournament Opponent with a 58-53 victory on Saturday. The Raiders didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

West Rusk's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kimora Pryor, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Keke Murphy, who posted 18 points along with five boards and five steals.

West Rusk's win bumped their record up to 3-7.

West Rusk didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-44 victory against Sabine on the 10th. As for Tournament Opponent, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 40-14 loss against Bradford Christian on the 7th.
