Springfield hadn't done well against Greenon recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Knights, sneaking past 1-0. For Springfield, this counts as revenge for the 6-1 victory Greenon walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Springfield's one-goal win came courtesy of Piper Burcham, who's now up to two this season.
