Basketball Recap: Rodriguez Starts Season with Victory at Home

Rodriguez gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Antioch Panthers 71-49.

Mason Adimora had a dynamite game, dropping a double-double with 27 points and 11 rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in January. Jermaine 'Megatron' Missouri was another key player, going 7-for-10 en route to 14 points along with six steals and five rebounds.

Looking ahead, Rodriguez won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Inderkum at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Antioch, they will face off against El Camino at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
