Basketball Recap: Weatherford Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

Harrah typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Weatherford proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 55-44 win over the Harrah Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

When it comes to explaining why Harrah lost, don't look at Maggie Vinson. Despite the final result, she posted 14 points and seven boards. Ashley Hamm was another key player, putting up ten points.

Weatherford is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points per game. As for Harrah, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-3.

Weatherford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 46-45 defeat against Kingfisher on the 25th. As for Harrah, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-33 victory against Woodward on the 25th.
