Baseball Recap: Ellsworth Takes a Loss

Ellsworth lost against Harbor Light Christian on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lancers fell just short of the Swordsmen by a score of 9-8. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Karson Clarke was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Max Muladore was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Ellsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Harbor Light Christian, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Coming up, Ellsworth will challenge Boyne Falls at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harbor Light Christian, they will square off against Pellston at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
