Baseball Game Preview: Norristown Eagles vs. Upper Merion Area Vikings

The Norristown Eagles will head out to challenge the Upper Merion Area Vikings at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Norristown's offense. They came up short against Upper Perkiomen on Monday, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Upper Merion Area lost 10-3 to Pope John Paul II on Monday.

John Tomsho made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Norristown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Upper Merion Area, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
