Softball Recap: Seymour Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] on Wednesday, Seymour came back down to earth. The Indians lost 11-1 to the Pittsfield Saukees on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Saukees: they've now lost five in a row.

Seymour's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11-1. As for Pittsfield, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-7-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Saukees beat Seymour by a score of 11-1 later that day.
