South Hills dropped down to 16-8 on Tuesday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They and the San Dimas Saints were almost perfectly matched up, but the Huskies suffered a 13-12 defeat. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Saints earlier this season, when they won 21-0.

Although South Hills took the loss, they still got scores from Caitlyn Penate and Kassidy Hockenhull.

As for San Dimas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.9 points over those games.

San Dimas' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Faith Kearns, who picked up 103 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Kearns didn't just play on offense: she also made four total tackles and defended one pass. Another player making a difference was Audrey Schlim, who rushed for 74 yards on only nine carries.

South Hills has already played their next matchup, a 13-0 victory against Colony on the 7th. As for San Dimas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 32-0 win against Los Altos on the 6th.
