Basketball Game Preview: Chateaugay Bulldogs vs. Edwards-Knox Cougars

The Chateaugay Bulldogs will face off against the Edwards-Knox Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Chateaugay will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Chateaugay is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They strolled past Harrisville with points to spare, taking the game 48-29.

Meanwhile, Edwards-Knox hadn't done well against Hammond Central recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Edwards-Knox took down Hammond Central 57-38. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won five contests in a row.

Edwards-Knox's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Chateaugay, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Chateaugay strolled past Edwards-Knox in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 45-30. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chateaugay since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
