Softball Recap: Greenfield-Central Takes a Loss

The Greenfield-Central Cougars came up short against the Franklin Central Flashes on Thursday and fell 15-10.

Greenfield-Central got a massive performance out of Leilani Forshey, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Savvanna Riall, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Greenfield-Central dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Franklin Central, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Greenfield-Central has already played their next contest, a 7-6 victory against Madison-Grant on the 11th. As for Franklin Central, they will challenge Pendleton Heights at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
