Football Game Recap: Magoffin County vs. Powell County

Powell County won the last time they met up with Magoffin County, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Powell County took their match against Magoffin County on Friday by a conclusive 76-46 score. Yes, you read that final score correctly. Yes, this was football.

The win bumped Powell County's record up to 4-1. The defeat dropped Magoffin County's record to 2-4.

Next week Powell County take on Knott County Central at Knott County Central High School at 7:30 PM. Powell County will be strutting in after a victory while Knott County Central will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Magoffin County, they will face off against Morgan County. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
