Softball Recap: Clarkstown South Sets Scoring Season-High Against Greeley

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clarkstown South). They put the hurt on the Greeley Quakers with a sharp 23-9 win on Friday. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Clarkstown South has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Greeley, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Clarkstown South has already played their next contest, a 7-4 win against Eastchester on the 24th. Greeley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
