Chaparral got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. Everything went their way against the Douglas County Huskies as they made off with a 5-0 victory. It was an even better day for Emerson Sprinkle as she scored three goals for her team.

The win made it two in a row for Chaparral and bumps their season record up to 5-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Douglas County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chaparral will face off against rival Mountain Vista at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Douglas County is set to square off against their familiar foe Castle View at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
