Soccer Recap: Upper Perkiomen Takes a Loss

Upper Perkiomen lost against Kutztown back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 4-3. While losing is never fun, Upper Perkiomen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 120th, while Kutztown are ranked 18th).

Upper Perkiomen's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Kutztown, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0-1.

Coming up, Upper Perkiomen will take on Pottstown at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kutztown, they will venture away from home to take on Schuylkill Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kutztown's defense better be ready for this one: Schuylkill Valley have averaged an impressive 3.3 goals per game this season.
