Softball Recap: Butte Takes a Loss

Butte made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Glacier, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Wolfpack by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Wolfpack: they've now lost six in a row.

Kendallyn Schad was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Gracie Ferriter also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Butte's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Glacier, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolfpack beat Butte by a score of 5-0 later that day.
