Softball Recap: Forest Park Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Forest Park's offense. They lost 9-0 to the Tecumseh Braves on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Rangers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

This is the second loss in a row for Forest Park and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Tecumseh, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest Park will face off against Loogootee at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rangers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Tecumseh, they will square off against Gibson Southern at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
