Softball Recap: Renaissance Comes Up Short

Renaissance suffered their biggest loss since April 24th on Saturday. They came up short against the Seaholm Maples, falling 15-2. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Renaissance's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Seaholm, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6-1 record this season.

Renaissance will face off against Bloomfield Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Black Hawks will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Seaholm, they will challenge Athens at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Maples are on a six-game streak of home wins, the Red Hawks a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
