Basketball Game Preview: Boiling Springs Bubblers vs. Bishop McDevitt Crusaders

The Boiling Springs Bubblers will head out on the road to square off against the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Boiling Springs is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57 points per game this season.

Boiling Springs blew Camp Hill out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Camp Hill got their revenge. The Bubblers fell just short of the Lions by a score of 52-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bubblers have suffered since February 20th.

Boiling Springs' loss came about despite a quality game from Ethan Yenser, who posted 20 points. Yenser's big performance that evening made it 12 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Kimmel, who put up eight points.

Meanwhile, Bishop McDevitt strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 68-60 victory over Trinity.

Bishop McDevitt's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Boiling Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Boiling Springs couldn't quite get it done against Bishop McDevitt in their previous matchup back in February as they fell 70-62. Can the Bubblers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
