Volleyball Recap: Reseda Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bernstein last Thursday, Reseda came back down to earth. The Reseda Regents fell just short of the Kennedy Cougars by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The loss was the Regents' first of the season.

Reseda actually scored more points across those five sets (98-96), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 17-25, 25-18, 25-21, 15-9.

Having lost for the first time this season, Reseda fell to 3-1. As for Kennedy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Reseda is taking a road trip to take on Panorama at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kennedy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Kennedy Cougars challenge San Fernando Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be San Fernando's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
