Pittsfield waltzed into their match on Saturday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 52-47 W against the South Hadley Tigers. This was payback for the Generals, who suffered a 48-40 loss the last time these two teams met.

Pittsfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Harolyn Castillo, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. Castillo is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kyana Summers, who posted ten points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

Pittsfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games.

Pittsfield pushed their record up to 20-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for South Hadley, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.
