Ravenswood extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping their season record up to 12-8 in the process. They put the hurt on the St. Marys Blue Devils with a sharp 9-2 win. Considering the Red Devils have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Evan Swain and Ralphie Rhodes did most of the damage at the plate: Swain went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Rhodes went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, two runs, and one RBI. Ravenswood is 9-1 when Swain posts two or more runs, but 3-7 otherwise. Noah Dawson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Ravenswood always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

As for St. Marys, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15-1. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly seven runs.

On St. Marys' side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Desmond Parks, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
