St. Charles East had lost three games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 13-16 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-11 win over the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Fighting Saints have posted since May 2nd.
James Feigleson was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Chris Dazzo also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
St. Charles East always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .585. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-17 record this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
On Wheaton-Warrenville South's side, Jacob Conover made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with one home run and five RBI.
