Soccer Recap: Woodlake Gets the Win

After failing to score in their last contest, Woodlake made sure to put some goals up on the board against Roosevelt on Saturday. They came out on top against the Roosevelt Rough Riders by a score of 4-2.

Woodlake hit Roosevelt with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Fernando Bucio (2), Hugo Santana, and Micheal Lemus.

The win got Woodlake back to even at 3-3-2. As for Roosevelt, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Woodlake wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against McFarland on the 14th. As for Roosevelt, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, an 8-1 win against Frazier Mountain on the 14th.
