Northeast came tearing into Friday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Central Lancers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

Northeast not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Central between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-18.

Northeast's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Central, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast will head out to face off against Academy at Palumbo at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Lower Merion at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
