North Mecklenburg extended their winning streak to 11 games thanks to a huge performance from Lenise Joseph. The North Mecklenburg Vikings breezed past the Chambers Cougars to the tune of 62-14 on Friday thanks in part to Joseph, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 10 points along with seven boards and four blocks. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Kameron Smith, who posted nine points. What's more, she also racked up three rebounds, the most she's had since back in January of 2024.

North Mecklenburg's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.2 points over those games. As for Chambers, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.

Coming up, North Mecklenburg will face off against Hopewell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopewell has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Chambers, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cougars face off against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
