Basketball Game Preview: Crisp County Cougars vs. Pierce County Bears

The Crisp County Cougars will square off against the Pierce County Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Crisp County and five for Pierce County.

It was a proper cat-fight when Crisp County took on Dooly County on Friday. Crisp County fell to Dooly County 35-31.

Meanwhile, Pierce County came up short against Tattnall County on Friday and fell 44-33. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 483rd, while the Warriors are ranked 148th).

Crisp County's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Pierce County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.
