Soccer Recap: American Christian Academy's Undefeated Season over After 13 Games

If American Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Northside last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights on Saturday. American Christian Academy were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Westminster School at Oak Mountain earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Anna Robbins wasn't going to let Westminster School at Oak Mountain walk away unscathed as she scored both of American Christian Academy's goals, bringing her season total up to 43 goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, American Christian Academy fell to 12-1. As for Westminster School at Oak Mountain, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. American Christian Academy will take on rival Holt at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in American Christian Academy's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Holt have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. Meanwhile, Westminster School at Oak Mountain is set to challenge their familiar foe Tarrant at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
