Softball Recap: Wayne's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Wayne hadn't done well against Panguitch recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Badgers blew past the Bobcats 17-3. The result was nothing new for the Badgers, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Wayne moved to 6-11 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Panguitch, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7.

Coming up, Wayne will square off against Monticello at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Buckaroo have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16 runs per game on average), something the Badgers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Panguitch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
