Basketball Game Preview: Brush Arcs vs. St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish

Brush is on a 11-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while St. Vincent-St. Mary is on a ten-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Brush Arcs will welcome the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Brush didn't have too much trouble with Warrensville Heights as they won 53-38. Given the Arcs' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Tigers are ranked 89th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, St. Vincent-St. Mary strolled past Dublin Jerome with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 48-34.

St. Vincent-St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Brush, their win bumped their record up to 17-2.

Brush strolled past St. Vincent-St. Mary in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 63-47. Will Brush repeat their success, or does St. Vincent-St. Mary have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
