Basketball Recap: North East Comes Up Short

North East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the North Harford Hawks, falling 57-36. The Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-13.

MASON HARVEY continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Harford, dropping a double-double with 23 points and ten boards. HARVEY also grabbed eight steals, which is notable because North Harford is 4-1 when he posts at least three steals, but 7-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was ZACH MULLINS, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds.

North East's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for North Harford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-10.

North East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Harford, they will challenge Sparrows Point at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. North Harford is facing Sparrows Point at the right time seeing as Sparrows Point is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
