Valor Academy waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins but they left with five. They blew past Lake Balboa College Prep 54-27 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Valor Academy has posted since December 11, 2023.
Lake Balboa College Prep's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was TYRONE NASIBIAN-WINBORN, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points NASIBIAN-WINBORN has scored all season. Another player making a difference was ARTURO PELAEZ, who scored 11 points.
Valor Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
