Volleyball Recap: Rock Academy Warriors vs. Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks

Rock Academy waltzed into their game on Wednesday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Perhaps the best among them was Lovely Afa'Ese, who had 11 digs, seven aces, two blocks, and a kill. That's the most blocks Afa'Ese has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Seriani Kisaka, who had eight digs and three kills.

Rock Academy pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Escondido Adventist Academy, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-6.

Rock Academy and Orange Glen are set to duel on Wednesday. As for Escondido Adventist Academy, they will welcome San Diego Jewish Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
