Softball Recap: Executive Education Academy Charter School Raptors vs. Panther Valley Panthers
Executive Education Academy Charter School extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-3 in the process. They lost 15-0 to the Panther Valley Panthers. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Raptors haven't been shut out since back in March.
As for Panther Valley, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-5. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by ten runs or more this season.
For Panther Valley's part, Janessa Prudente made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Prudente was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kyla McQuillen, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Danika Blazosky also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
