Germantown took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Kettle Moraine Lutheran, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warhawks had just enough and edged out the Chargers 2-1 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warhawks have posted since September 13th.

Despite the loss, Kettle Moraine Lutheran still got an impressive performance from Maitlyn Rhode, who had 17 assists and two aces. Rhode is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Germantown's win bumped their record up to 14-21. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-19.

Looking ahead, Germantown is taking a road trip to face off against Slinger at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kettle Moraine Lutheran, they will challenge Lakeside Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
