Football Recap: Colleton Prep Academy Falls Short of Williamsburg Academy in the Playoffs

Colleton Prep Academy and Williamsburg Academy squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Colleton Prep Academy had to settle for second. They lost 36-14 to the Stallions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the War Hawks of the 41-21 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2022.

Despite the loss, Colleton Prep Academy still got an impressive performance from Tanner Wolf, who rushed for 77 yards and one TD, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. Cale Owens helped out on the ground, rushing for 95 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Williamsburg Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grant Small, who rushed for 140 yards and one score. Micah Balder was another key player, rushing for 40 yards and one touchdown.

Colleton Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Williamsburg Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

As of now, neither Colleton Prep Academy nor the Stallions have any future games scheduled.
