Soccer Recap: Giles County Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Giles County has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Central Magnet. That's two games in a row now that Giles County have lost by just one goal.

Giles County's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-3-1. As for Central Magnet, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Giles County is set to face off against their familiar foe Spring Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central Magnet will challenge rival Tullahoma at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
