Basketball Recap: Damian Law's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Kansas City East Christian Academy over Northside L

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Thursday. Kansas City East Christian Academy fell 58-51 to Northside L.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Damian Law, who posted 15 points. Maddox Carrillo was another key player, putting up 15 points and six boards.

Northside L found their leader in sophomore ETHAN RODECKER, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. RODECKER continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was BEN HEASTON, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards.

Kansas City East Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 17-23. As for Northside L, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 23-19 record this season.

Kansas City East Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 81-80 win against SWCHA S on the 14th. As for Northside L, they have also already played their next contest, a 49-36 loss against Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool on the 14th.
