Greenville can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They never let the Neshannock Lancers onto the board and left with a 6-0 win. Winning may never get old, but Greenville sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Nick Solderich was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Solderich was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last six games he's played.
In other batting news, Jack Strausser was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Blake Rottman was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
On Neshannock's side, Thomas Morell was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.
At the plate, Neshannock saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Giovanni Valentine, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.
