Abbeville Christian Academy skates past Southwest Georgia STEM Charter with ease

The Abbeville Christian Academy Generals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 24 points or more this season. They blew past Southwest Georgia STEM Charter 77-25 at home. That 77-25 margin sets a new team best for Abbeville Christian Academy this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Abbeville Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Javarse Turner, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Turner's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Jp Sowell was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six steals.

Abbeville Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Southwest Georgia STEM Charter, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-5.

Abbeville Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Ezekiel Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 15th. Ezekiel Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 314th, while Abbeville Christian Academy is ranked 138th). Southwest Georgia STEM Charter will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pataula Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
