Soccer Recap: West Charlotte Takes a Loss

West Charlotte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Mallard Creek Mavericks. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by exactly nine goals.

West Charlotte's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Mallard Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, West Charlotte will venture away from home to challenge West Mecklenburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mallard Creek, they will welcome Hopewell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopewell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.
