It was a good run, but Person unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-match winning streak on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Red Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in August.

Person started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-17, 27-25, 25-19.

Despite the defeat, Person had strong showings from Alex Fuller, who had 17 digs and eight assists, and Logan Hurdle, who had six digs and four aces.

Cedar Ridge was led to victory by Sydnee Tapper and Emory Williams. Tapper had 30 digs and two aces, while Williams had four digs and four aces. That's the most aces Williams has posted since September 4th. Mia Marty also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Person's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Cedar Ridge, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Person has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Cummings on the 30th. As for Cedar Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against J.F. Webb on the 30th.
