Softball Recap: Trinity Catholic Celtics vs. Wapakoneta Redskins

The Trinity Catholic Celtics earned a 9-4 win over the Wapakoneta Redskins on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Celtics.

Caylee Barbe made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Emma Simms was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 4-for-5. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Casey Houghtaling was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-5.
