Volleyball Recap: Orange Park Raiders vs. Baker County Wildcats

Orange Park hadn't done well against Baker County recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Orange Park Raiders came out on top against the Baker County Wildcats by a score of 3-1. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Rylynn Robinson had an outrageously good game as she had 27 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in the last six games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Hailey Ingham, who had 19 digs and two aces.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ava Marlow, who had 26 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Georgia Crews, who had 15 digs and 17 assists.

Orange Park's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10. As for Baker County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orange Park will challenge Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Orange Park is facing Ridgeview at the right time seeing as Ridgeview is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Baker County, they will square off against Clay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
