Ironton's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Rock Hill Redmen. The Fighting Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redmen, too.

Ironton took Rock Hill into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-16, 15-9.

Ironton picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-5. As for Rock Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Ironton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Chesapeake on the 11th. As for Rock Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Gallia Academy on the 11th.
